Here's some good news among all the Tropical Storm Nicole "We're Really Doing This in November" talk ...
One Californian, who holds the winning ticket from Monday's PowerBall drawing (held Tuesday morning due to a problem in one of the states), became an instant billionaire this week, but someone bought a ticket in the drawing in Osceola County and has some life-changing money coming their way.
A ticket that matched all five white ball numbers, 10-33-41-47-56, was purchased at the K & M Drugs on Village Drive in Poinciana. Because the winner also purchased the Power Play option, that ticket holder won $2 million.
It was one of three tickets in Florida that matched the five white balls but not the Power Ball (10). Twenty-three other tickets won $50,000 for matching four white numbers and the Power Ball, including one purchased at the 7-Eleven at Sinclair Road and Old Lake Wilson Road north of Reunion.
