Osceola drivers who use Orange Blossom Trail northbound into Orange County and Orlando during the night, and those coming back south into Osceola, be aware that northbound and southbound OBT at State Road 417 are scheduled to be closed nightly from Monday to Sunday (Apirl 18-24) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for bridge work.
Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard and southbound drivers will be directed onto Whisper Lakes Boulevard or Deerfield Boulevard. See map shown as a graphic in this story.
This work is for a widening project on SR 417 from John Young Parkway to Landstar Boulevard, which started in March 2021 and is expected to be complete in November 2023.
