The Central Florida Expressway Authority has announced Narcoossee Road under State Road 417 will close overnight on Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for bridge construction work.
Northbound drivers will be directed to travel north on SR 417 to Moss Park Road (Exit 23) and follow the detour signs back onto 417 or down Moss Park to Narcoossee. Southbound drivers will be directed to travel south on SR 417 to Lake Nona Boulevard (Exit 19) and follow the detour signs back onto 417 or through Lake Nona back to Narcoossee.
This work is for an ongoing capacity improvements project on SR 417 from Boggy Creek Road to Narcoossee Road, which started in January 2022 and is expected to be complete in early 2024.
