The Osceola Sheriff's Office reports a man was found unresponsive early Tuesday afternoon and couldn't be revived.
The man was identified Wednesday as Matthew Eric Jenkins, 20, of Shelby Township, Michigan, after his family in Michigan was notified.
Sheriff's officials report that Tuesday at 6:25 p.m., dispatchers received a call of a man that was unresponsive on Bloom Street in the Celebration town center, after a lightning strike was observed in the area. Police say deputies responded to the scene as bystanders were performing CPR on the victim. He was later pronounced deceased at Celebration Hospital.
Today deputies were able to identify the victim after working with federal law enforcement.

Sheriff's homicide detectives are working to get the cause of death from the medical examiner, a Sheriff's spokesperson said.
