The Kissimmee High School Class of 1967, which meets annually, held its virtual class reunion this year Dec. 10-12. Kenneth Bracy, who now resides in Tallahassee, was the host.
Friday night (the 10th) was the meet and greet gathering in which everyone wore their Christmas attire and Mr. Bracy welcomed the classmates. Diane Tisdale showed a picture presentation, and the evening ended with Linda Lewis announcing a toast to the class, and all partook accordingly.
Saturday afternoon was a time for continued spirited discussion about school day stories and for the group to play a Christmas game. The class tuned in Saturday night wearing attire for the “Magnificent Pajama Party!” Class members wore an array of textured style and colorful tops, and the females’ headdresses matched their PJs. The evening started with a game titled, “What do You Think When I say This Word?” and the grand finale was “The Auditions,” when each attendee had to sing a solo. It was hilarious, and if there were an audience, all participants would have received a standing ovation.
The final gathering was Sunday afternoon. A mini chat session, trivia game, and expressions of thanks were the activities of the day. Final words were expressed by Diane Tisdale, and Lawrence Howard gave the remarks and prayer. It culminated a reunion celebrating 54 years as high school graduates. The school’s name will always be remembered as the Class of 1967 and other alumni gather to celebrate and remember the history of KHS.
