Kissimmee motorcyclist killed in Sunday morning Pleasant Hill Road crash

A Kissimmee motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning on Pleasant Hill Road when he collided with another driver who turned directly into his path, Florida Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers say the 34-year-old was pronounced dead at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital after being transported there following the 11 a.m. crash.

According to the crash report, the motorcyclist aboard his 2019 Ducati was traveling southbound on Pleasant Hill approaching Kinglet Boulevard south of Bellalago. A 61-year-old Poinciana man traveling north attempted to make a left turn, and turned into the direct path of the Ducati, and the motorcycle struck the right side of the driver's Nissan Titan. The Nissan driver was transported to HCA Florida Poinciana hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, FHP says.
