A Kissimmee motorcyclist was killed in Orange County on Wednesday, after a pickup truck turned into his path.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2021 Ram pickup truck being driven by a 48-year-old Orlando man was traveling westbound on Wetherbee Road at about 10:25 p.m., when he attempted to make a left turn south onto Sawgrass Plantation Boulevard, and into the path of the 20-year-old Kissimmee motorcyclist.
The motorcycle hit the right side of the pickup truck, causing it to catch fire and ejecting the rider. The Kissimmee man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
