Hey Osceola County residents — a new millionaire walks among us.
On Thursday, the Florida Lottery announced that Jesus Betancourt Pizarro, 62, of Kissimmee, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum $1.64 million payment.
The lucky resident purchased the winning ticket at the Wawa store at Narcooossee Road and Boggy Creek Road. The store will share in the fortune, receiving a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
It's one of eight $2 million grand prizes available in the $10 game. The odds of winning are roughly 1-in-4 million.
