The Kissimmee Police Department and the Kissimmee Fire Department will go head to head in a battle of the barbecue.
Kissimmee Main Street will be hosting the Red Blue & BBQ cook-off competition between the two agencies on June 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kissimmee Main Street, 421 Broadway.
The public will decide who's the best barbecue master in hamburger, chicken, ribs and steak categories.
Ticket prices vary. Purchase multiple meat tickets and receive. A portion of the proceeds will go to the departments as follows: First Place – 40 percent; second place – 20 percent; and 40 percent to nonprofit 501C3 Kissimmee Main Street.
