If you use John Young Parkway as an artery to go north into Orange County, here's an alert that the road is scheduled to be closed late Monday night for bridge work on State Road 417, the Central Florida Expressway Authority has announced.
Northbound and southbound John Young will be closed at 417 from 10 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Tuesday to work on a 417 widening project through the area to International Drive, which is scheduled to finish in July 2023.
Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard, and southbound drivers will be directed onto Town Loop Boulevard. See the adjoining map for the complete detour.
