A 24-year-old Kissimmee woman was killed early Monday morning after being involved in a single-car crash on Old Lake Wilson Road, Florida Highway Patrol has reported.
Just after 1 a.m., FHP reported the woman was headed southbound at a high rate of speed,and lost control near Spine Road and left the highway. The driver's side struck a metal pole; the woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Prior to the crash, the incident report said the driver had but involved in a minor crash at Old Lake Wilson and Sinclair Road. The driver fled the scene, before being involved in the fatal crash.
The crashes remain under investigation.
