Florida Highway Patrol reports a Kissimmee man was struck and killed by a car while crossing west U.S. Highway 192 early Saturday morning.
The incident happened at Locksley Lane, just east of Seralago Boulevard near The Rock Church at 2:25 a.m. The 56-year-old victim was crossing south and was not in a marked crosswalk, FHP spokesperson Tara Crescenzi said, and crossed into the direct path of the 30-year-old driver, also from Kissimmee.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, per the report, and the driver was not injured and remained on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
