Toho Water Authority has announced two segments of Verona Street near downtown Kissimmee will be closed this week through October 2022 to complete a sewer rehabilitation project in the area.
West Verona closes to through traffic between North Forest Avenue and North Lavon Avenue Wednesday at around 9 a.m. Once completed,
closures to thru traffic on W. Verona St. starting on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at approximately 9 a.m. The first closure will occur Once completed, the second closure will occur between North Lavon and North Palm Avenue.
The project is being carried out by Prime Construction and is expected to be completed by October 2022. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Signs will be up for traffic and local residents.
