DID YOU KNOW? Education and Awareness is Key to stopping human trafficking

New Dean Cain movie on the subject debuts this week — NOT FOR SALE: FLORIDA

Educating yourself about online safety, the tactics of human traffickers, and accessing local resources can help prevent you, your children, and your family from being one of the thousands of victims in the United States who have been trafficked. Everyone can play a role in identifying victims of human trafficking. An informed community member, co-worker, neighbor, classmate, or peer could also be a victim’s link to freedom. One chance encounter could be a victim’s best hope for rescue.

NOT FOR SALE: FLORIDA is the first of a three-film series to depict true stories of human trafficking crimes by JCFilms and The Lifeboat Project, Inc. starring actor Dean Cain. The goal of these films is to make our communities safer, more informed, and vigilant to this growing epidemic in human trafficking in Florida.

Cain, known for his role as Superman in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” has been busy making films in Orlando to help educate the public on human trafficking in Central Florida. The first of these three films, Not For Sale: Florida is set to have its world premiere during Human Trafficking Awareness month tonight (Jan. 26) at 7 p.m. at the City of Destiny Church in Apopka.

JCFilms Studios is a faith-and-family film production company that has produced over 50 faith and family films with most of them featuring Cain. It is partnering with The Lifeboat Project, Inc. in the production of these films.
