Detectives arrest Kissimmee man they say solicited minors and their guardians for sex

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Kissimmee man they say solicited minors and their guardians for unlawful sexual activity.

Zachary Jordan Lazzell, 37, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device and use of a computer to solicit parent/guardian consent.

Authorities say they were notified by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of an incident regarding an individual soliciting minors and guardians of minors, for unlawful sexual activity. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began an investigation into the incident.

Thursday, ICAC detectives served a search warrant at a residence located in the Windmill Point subdivision in Kissimmee. During the investigation, detectives located online chats where the suspect, later identified as Lazzell, expressed his desires of “incest” with minors and engaging in sexual activity with who he believed was a parent/guardian of a 9-year-old.

Based on evidence obtained during this investigation, Lazzell was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with zero bond.

As the case remains under investigation, the Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information related to this case or any other similar incidents to contact them at 407-348-2222.
