For the third year in a row, the Osceola Council on Aging (OCOA) will host a Fall Community Resource Expo for Osceola residents.
With more than 50 vendors scheduled to be present, the Expo will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at the BEV Center on the OCOA campus (700 Generation Point, Kissimmee). Free and open to the public, the annual event is organized as a family-friendly program for attendees to meet area businesses, learn about local offerings and the expansive resources available within Osceola County community.
“The mission of this Expo is to introduce informational programs and services offered within our community in which local residents may not be familiar with,” said Lisa Wilkinson, OCOA Special Events Coordinator. “As in previous years, our goal is to promote awareness, and community cooperation, all within a fun, fall-themed, upbeat environment.”
From healthcare organizations to churches, law enforcement, colleges, insurance companies, service organizations, nonprofits, brokers, and even our local YMCA, this educational function, sponsored by Prescriptions Unlimited, will give guests the opportunity to learn valuable insights, meet area officials and win raffle prizes throughout the day.
“We are excited to serve as a presenting sponsor of the Osceola Council on Aging’s Fall Community Resource Expo,” said Prescriptions Unlimited owner Eric Larson. “We always look forward to supporting informational events like this which bring the community together.”
Prescriptions Unlimited Pharmacy has cared for Osceola residents for more than 40 years, and a staunch supporter and community partner for the Council on Aging.
