College honors for local scholars

Here’s a list of achievements by Osceola County students at out-of-area colleges and universities, as reported by Merit Pages News:

The Office of the Registrar at the University of Minnesota Duluth has announced its list of spring semester 2025 graduates, including St. Cloud’s Kyle Rose, with a Master’s in Computer Science.

Maibelene Price of St. Cloud graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Missouri State University.

Ethan Baez of St. Cloud graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of North Georgia. The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to 6,660 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute’s 268th Commencement exercises, including Christian Cardona of Kissimmee and Lissett Munoz of Davenport. Emma Davies of Kissimmee made the Spring 2025 semester Dean’s List.

The following students from the area earned degrees from the University of Maryland Global Campus: Joseph Hocking (Associate of Arts) and Kristina Bailes (Bachelor of Science) of St. Cloud; Miguel Ortegamercado (AA) of Kindred; Yehuwdah Yodhhewawhe (BS) of Celebration; Jerome Beerball (BS) and Mansoor Syed (Master of Business ) of Kissimmee; and Tavarishai Glanton (MS) of Poinciana.

Weeks after being named to the school’s Dean’s List, Kissimmee’s Valerie Rodriguez of Wallace State Community College (Hanceville, Al.) was recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) with All-Academic honors.

The University of Tampa’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List included Emily Carrucini, Aubrey Cronander, Ella Graham, Michael LaMonica and Mario Ramos-Lemus of Kissimmee, Adrian Rodriguez of St. Cloud and Mary Morgan and Lily Trapp of Davenport.

Christina Stoll of Kissimmee has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College (Clinton, N.Y.), as was Sydney K. Kochensparger of St. Cloud, Fla. at Clark University (Worcester, Mass.).
