A British woman was killed and two others were hurt in a two-car collision Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of County Road 532 (Osceola-Polk Line Road) and Orange Blossom Trail.
Florida Highway Patrol reported just before 1 p.m. Tuesday a Mitsubishi Mirage driven by a 53-year-old male from Horton Heath, United Kingdom was headed north and making a left turn onto 532, into the path of a Ford F-150 headed southbound on Orange Blossom. The front of the truck struck the Mirage passenger side.
The female passenger was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, and FHP also said the driver and another male passenger, also from the U.K., were injured. FHP reported no injuries in the pickup truck among the driver and two passengers.
The crash remains under investigation.
