The Osceola County Sheriff's Office has reported it's made an arrest in an August Kissimmee jewelry theft,
Eli Aldana-Rodriguez and Luis Chavez-Madrid, were arrested over the weekend and charged with felony third-degree grand theft and robbery by sudden snatching.
Per a Sheriff's report, on Aug. 26, a subject identified as Aldana-Rodriguez entered the Kay Jewelers on North John Young Parkway in Kissimmee. He requested to see a necklace and charm valued at approximately $11,000. When the store employee removed the necklace from the display case, the suspect snatched it from her hands and fled to a nearby vehicle, where Chavez-Madrid was reportedly awaiting in the driver seat and acting as a
lookout.
The vehicle fled the scene into Orange County. Both suspects were arrested and cooperated during this investigation. The stolen necklace was recovered in Polk County after being sold by the suspects.
