Osceola County Fire Rescue/EMS held an open house for its Station 72 in Celebration (595 Celebration Place), Saturday, April 16. It was a chance for the community to learn about how fire officials work to keep residents safe, and to show local children a good time with bounce houses, crafts, and an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog — all in the name of fire safety and teaching kids that “fire fighters are your friends.” More station open houses are scheduled for the near future around the county, including one scheduled in May at Station 64 on Pleasant Hill Road.
