On March 31 and April 1, St. Cloud celebrated its 40th annual Spring Fling, hosted by the St. Cloud Rotary Club. The event featured dozens of amazing events over the course of two days.
Beginning on Friday with a sundown showing of Lightyear, and food trucks offering popcorn and other snacks nearby, the fun continued on Saturday,as the city came out in support of the Bass Tournament followed by a car show with a Touch-a-Truck area and beer and wine tasting.
“It’s been amazing,” resident Catherine Smith said. “It’s a great outreaching opportunity and there’s amazing vendors out here too.”
From paintings, jewelry, essential oils, to birdhouses and Easter baskets, hundreds of local vendors lined the streets from Kentucky to Florida Avenue.
At the center of Saturday’s events was a stage that showcased local talents and music that ranged from theater musicals to covers of famous songs such as Sweet Home Alabama. On the side was a large interactive play center with 14 different activities for children.
