It was another incredible day of golf, networking and, of course, raising scholarship funds for Osceola County students Friday at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Perfect weather greeted the 32nd annual Larry Godwin Scholarship for Kids Golf Classic which raised $180,000 to support student scholarships, contributing to the Foundation’s long-standing mission of expanding educational opportunities for Osceola County students.
With support from community businesses and volunteers, the tournament has become one of the most impactful fundraising traditions in the County. A full field of 216 players took to all of Royal’s 27 holes and enjoyed drinks on the course and a steak lunch, and in the process pushed the all-time amount raised for scholarships to over $3.5 million.
