In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Heart of Florida United Way is kicking off its 3rd Annual Week of Action of volunteer projects right here in Kissimmee.
Today (Monday) you can support Aspire Health Partners beautify a residential areas for the residents that will be living in the facilities. During the Osceola County Campus Beautification (924 Determination Way, Kissimmee), campus beautification activities will include painting the building and sprucing up the yard and flowers. It began in the morning and will last well into the afternoon.
Throughout Central Florida, volunteers will participate in opportunities ranging from beautification projects to creating a “zen” space for caregivers. This week of volunteer opportunities will include moments that truly make a difference. In turn, it’s been proven that volunteering can also help ones mental state.
