Osceola County and the Florida Department of Transportation report that a full closure of northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike/State Road in Osceola County between Yeehaw Junction/SR 60 (Exit 193) and US 192 (Exit 244) has been scheduled to allow crews to install bridge beams for the Neptune Road bridge over Florida’s Turnpike.
The northbound lanes will close on Thursday, July 31, between 12-5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured at the Yeehaw Junction/State Road 60 exit and onto U.S. Highway 441/Kenansville Road. Traffic can go north to 192, then west into Kissimmee to get back on the Turnpike.
Southbound traffic will close Monday, July 28 from 12-5 a.m. in that same stretch, and use the same 192-to-441-to-60 detour.
This work is part of Osceola County’s Neptune Road Widening and Improvement Project. For more information on this project, please call the project hotline at 407-710-0050.
