A Kissimmee man was killed early Sunday morning in the Hunter's Creek area when the Florida Highway Patrol says another driver pulled out of a driveway and into his direct path.
According to the FHP crash report, just after 3 a.m. the 38-year-old man was headed south on Orange Blossom Trail south of Hunter's Creek Boulevard. A 39-year-old woman driving a Kia Soul pulled out of a driveway near Cypress Crossing Drive, into the path of the Honda motorcycle, and they collided. The front of the motorcycle struck the left rear of the Kia.
The motorcylcist was pronounced deceased on scene; the Kia driver was transported to Advent Health Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Kia driver was wearing a seat belt, the FHP report said, and the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
