As traffic already often snarls on that stretch of Simpson Road due to widening construction, please be aware of this road closure this week.
Buenaventura Boulevard will be closed at Simpson Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 7 through Thursday, Dec. 11. Only local traffic will be allowed between Royal Palm Drive and Oakwood Drive near the shopping areas.
Traffic will be detoured using Royal Palm while crews install a stormwater drainage structure. Expect:
• Detour signs guiding drivers and pedestrians
• Construction noise, dust, and vibration
• Possible schedule adjustments due to weather or conditions
