    Enjoy a free holiday movie at Hopkins Park, 620 E. 17th St., on Friday, Dec. 20 at 6:15 p.m.  The movie Elf will be shown.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy this festive holiday movie.

    Or, if your young ones have to get those last requests in to the North Pole, Cakes Pastries & More (1037 New York Ave.) will have a special visitor on Friday at 6:30 p.m. — Santa will be stopping by!  This is a free event and an opportunity to take pictures and interact with Santa himself.  There will be some cooking for the kids and Santa.  Adults can purchase some of their baked goods at the shop.

    Home schoolers ages 11-15 are invited to the Social Club Pajama Party on Friday, Dec. 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Cloud Civic Center, 3101 17th St. Wear your coziest sleep wear for a day of games, food and festive fun.     It’s Snow Beautiful Holiday Concert takes place on Monday, Dec. 23 from 6-7 p.m. at Bubble Pops (4533 Old Canoe Creek Road).  This free family holiday event features an evening of your favorite holiday classics song by vocalist Dominic Ruiz. Seating is limited, so arrive early.


    Get Ready for Rockin' the Cloud on New Year’s Eve, starting at 7 p.m. This free event features live music and entertainment on three event stages around downtown St. Cloud. Performers will be: Slickwood, Cubason, Afterglow and many more.  Food and beverages will be available for sale.

    Elevate your experience with a VIP package.  The Cloud VIP package includes a private VIP cash bar, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, photo booth, VIP view of the main stage, private rest rooms, a meet and greet with the headliners and a swag gift.  VIP packages are $90 and can be purchased online at https://www.stcloudfl.gov/1678/Rockin-The-Cloud.

     

    Don’t curb it swap it!  The annual Christmas Tree Swap will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Peghorn Nature Park (2101 Peghorn Way). Instead of throwing out your old Christmas tree to the curb, swap it out for a new tree to plant at home.  The old tree must be free of decorations. For more information, call 407-957-7243.
