Work off some holiday calories with an end of year hike. The Pine Lily Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society presents a Sunset Ranch Trail Hike on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 9 a.m. to noon. Sunset Ranch is located on Sunset Ranch Road in Kenansville. Parking/park access is $6 per car or $3 per person. The trail is a little over two miles long and has oak, hammock, wetlands and lakeshore habitat. Wear closed-toed shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellant. Bring plenty of water and a lunch or snack.

Then, save the night for the 6th Annual Rockin’ the Cloud, an annual celebration to ring in the New Year. It takes place in downtown St. Cloud from 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022 to Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023. This year’s event will offer three stages of live entertainment with performances from Maiden Voyage, Harlequin and this year’s headliner, The Supervillains. The countdown to midnight includes St. Cloud’s Cloud Drop to ring in 2023.

Immerse yourself in the rich history of St. Cloud. The St. Cloud Woman’s Club Heritage Museum is hosting Mt. Peace Cemetery and Mural Tours on Friday, Jan. 20 and Historic House Tours on Saturday, Jan. 21. The Heritage Museum will be open on Sunday, Jan. 22 for tours.

Cemetery Tours will be at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Mural Guided Tours will be at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Historic House Tours by bus will be at 10 a.m., 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Reserve your places for the Cemetery and House Tours now. Mural Tours are free.
