Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from Sept. 15-Oct. 15, recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

The Hispanic Town Festival in St. Cloud will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 12-7 p.m. at Lakefront Park. This festival will feature live music, a DJ, vendors, food trucks, raffles and children’s activities. Live music will be performed by Chamaco Rivera y su Orquesta, Los DPR, Christian Ray y su Orquesta and Batu Angleo. Enjoy good music and good food while celebrating the Hispanic Town Festival.

 

Hopkins Park presents a Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 30. This event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy food, fun and a kickball game that begins at 11 a.m. Hopkins Park will be planting a new crop in addition to providing arts and crafts.

 

There is a new spooky spot in town! Mick Farms (4261 Canoe Creek Road) presents its inaugural Haunted Creek, Oct. 6-14 and 20-27 from 8-10 p.m. Come out to the first haunting of the Fall! It’s a two-part adventure – weave your way through acres of terrifying stalks filled with twists and turns with creepy things around each corner, your blood will be pumping. The St. Cloud Police Department is observing the 2023 National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 4-7 p.m. at Lakefront Park. This night of family friendly fun features safety presentations, a touch-a-truck experience, live DJ, games and activities, food trucks and more.

Now in its 40th year, National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood friendships which helps to make neighborhoods safer to live and work in.

 

The 2023 St. Cloud Holiday Festival, held Dec. 2-3, is looking for sponsors. Presented by the Rotary Club of Kissimmee Bay, this is a great opportunity for local businesses.
