The popular Bikes & Bites culinary tour is set for Saturday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting at the Lakefront Boat Basin. For a $15 fee (children 12 and under are free) cyclist participate in a police-escorted ride from the Lakefront through downtown St. Cloud, stopping at several spots along the way to sample some of St. Cloud’s best foods.

The route is about five miles and includes a bike helmet, food samples, snacks and drinks. Bike rentals will be available for $5 per person.

Last year over 100 cyclists participated in this event. To register, go to https://webtrac.stcloudfl.gov/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/ search.html?module=PST.

And, if you find yourself downtown for the ride, stop into 3Beez Honey Farm, Inc. It will hold an event at its location at 1114 New York Ave. If you are interested in learning more about bees, bee keeping, how honey is extracted from the hives and bottled, this event is for you. Beekeeper Robert Crisp will hold 45-minute lectures beginning at 11 a.m. and concluding at 3 p.m. This 4th generation beekeeper will be able to answer your questions about it. In addition, purchase any honey that you wish to bottle and label yourself. The type of honey being extracted is saw palmetto. No registration is required for this unique event.

St. Cloud Main Street’s Storybook Adventures have begun! These adventures run for seven weeks this summer. Each week, begin the tour at the St. Cloud Police sub-station on 10th Street to pick up a map that leads you on a stroll of downtown St. Cloud. The map takes you to specific locations, reading one page of the selected book at a time until you complete that week’s story. You can read the story anytime during the week but make sure on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. you visit with the host business and meet the author. The first 20 families in attendance will receive a free book to have autographed and take pictures. Have your child in costume inspired by the book for a chance to win tickets to the St. Cloud Twin Theater. Those families that attend all seven events will be entered for a chance to win a family 4-pack to Wild Florida.

Children ages 10-15 may sign-up for the City of St. Cloud’s Junior Lifeguard Program. There are several class date sessions this summer, each held over three days. Every student receives a whistle, hip pack, CPR mask and a t-shirt. Students must complete a swim assessment prior to registration.

Class dates are June 9-11, 20-22 and July 5-7, 14-16 and 28-30. Register in person at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center, or online at www. webtrac.stcloudfl.gov.

Is there a future leader in your life? Teens ages 13-14 are invited to the City of St. Cloud’s Future Leaders Camp taking place June 5 through Aug. 4 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Students will learn job hunting skills, professional development and participate in career fairs.
