St. Cloud launches ‘DataVoice’

St. Cloud Utilities has launched “DataVoice,” a notification system that allows us to communicate with our customers more effectively during water emergencies (such as boil water notices).

It will help the city keep customers informed and connected, according to a press release. All utilities customers will be enrolled in the system.

“This is just one more way we are working to ensure our utilities customers are kept informed about any outages or issues we experience,” said Marjorie Craig, environmental utilities director. “We will continue to send press releases, post information to the city’s web site, and post updates to our social media sites, but this system allows us to simultaneously inform all affected customers quickly and efficiently.”
