Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington invites the community to another Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valencia College Poinciana Campus. This free community event is a chance to connect with Osceola County’s departments, local organizations and community partners to learn about programs, services and resources. There will be information and connections all in one place – housing information, health and wellness resources, educational opportunities and other community services.
Adults Can Unearth A Mystery: Girl in the Well on Saturday, June 20 from 1-3 p.m. Embark on a tabletop adventure where players race against time to unravel secrets, solve puzzles and uncover the mystery. Teens – this one is for you. Dino Dishes takes place on Monday, June 22 from 4-5 p.m. Craft a little Jurassic joy. Turn a dinosaur into a unique trinket dish to hold keys, jewelry and other small treasures. All supplies are provided.
Rhythm, Rhyme & Roar takes place on Tuesday, June 23 from 10:30-11 a.m. This program is for children ages 2 to 5. Stomp, sing and roar along with dinosaur themed stories, songs and rhythm during this pre-historic adventure.
Baby and Me takes place on Tuesday, June 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Hug your little ones while sharing this special first-time experience. This is for children from birth to 18 months. This program introduces books with playtime and repetitive music.
Crochet 101 takes place on Tuesday, June 23 from 2-3 p.m. Learn the art of crochet, create patterns and weaves. Supplies will be provided. Registration is required. To register, call 407-742-8888.
Stop back at the Library on Wednesday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon for Bits ’N Pieces Puppet Theater. Jerry Bickel will bring the classic adventure tale of Rumpelstiltskin to live with the one-man puppet show.

Adult Bingo is offered every Friday night at the Poinciana Community Center. Friday, June 26 will be a little different, Pajama Friday Bingo takes place then. This Bingo Party is for adults ages 18 and up. The cost is 10 games for $5, with cash prizes awarded. Concession stands will be open for food and beverages and basic supplies (no outside food or beverage allowed). Doors open at 6 p.m. with first ball pulled at 7 p.m. The Poinciana Community Center is located at 445 Marigold Ave.
Celebrate Father’s Day with Valora Medical Group Poinciana on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 4551 Pleasant Hill Road. Dad with Style an event features skewers, raffles and a Hat and Cap contest. Bring your best style. Prizes will be awarded for best attire.
