Congratulations to Poinciana’s Most Beautiful Homes for 2023: Reedy Creek Village (Village 1) – Lourdes Reyes, Oak Branch Circle; Deerwood Village (Village 2) – Julio Roman and Jaritza Baez, Cambourne Drive; Cypress Village (Village 3) – Johanny Siri, Kangaroo Drive; Pinewood Village (Village 5) – Fernando Arocho, Caen Court; Lake Marion Village (Village 7) - Siamone McKenzie, Big Sioux Court; Tanglewood Village (Village 8) — Radamez Perez, Elderberry Court; Broadmoor Village (Village 9) – Maria Vega, Ellsworth Drive.

As for those villages, each APV Village will soon have a sign which will display each one’s original name.  The first village to receive its new sign will be Deerwood Village (Village 2).

And, don’t forget to vote next week! The APV 2024 elections for open seats on Village 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Boards takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the APV Community Center (445 Marigold Ave.) This election is an important one, where the deeded members of the Association’s Villages vote for fellow home and property owners to represent their village.   

All voting information is posted on www.apvcommunity.com. Only homeowners and property owners are eligible to vote.

 

Join First Baptist Poinciana (601 Walnut St.), on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. and celebrate Black History Month.  Enjoy music from the Gospel Choir of Evans High School.  Shop the church’s African Outpost for authentic African clothing, home décor, soaps and more. 

 

The ever-popular Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Dance, an event by the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) will be on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 6-9 p.m. at the Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center.
