POINCIANA NEWS — APV honors its Beautiful Homes winners

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) recently recognized the winners of their 2024 Poinciana Beautiful Home Beautification program.  The Ninth Annual Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala was held on Saturday, Jan. 25.  More than 150 deeded owners, guests and APV staff members gathered for a glamorous evening to honor those who go above and beyond to maintain the exterior of their homes.

At the Great Gatsby-themed event, attendees were transported back in time to the roaring 20’s with live music, courtesy of the Rohan Reid Jazz Band, dancing and hors d’oeuvres.  Awards were presented to the winners of the 2024 Homes of the Year, with one homeowner from each Village selected as a winner.  In addition to bragging rights, these honorees also received a beautiful trophy and numerous prizes and gifts from the evening’s sponsors.

“So many of our residents take great care of their homes, and each year, we look forward to this gala as an opportunity to celebrate them and their contributions to our community,” said Mark Maldonado, General manager of APV.  “We are thrilled to recognize these wonderful homes and our incredible residents who help make Poinciana beautiful”.

For the past 12 months, APV has been accepting nominations for this celebratory awards event.  The nominees were submitted by themselves or by their neighbors.  The APV Community Service Department also notes when they see a potential candidate as they make their rounds throughout Poinciana.

Reedy Creek – Village 1 – 4401 Canopy Ct., Daniell Dionne;

Deerwood – Village 2 – 1304 Burnley Ct., Saraineo Rivera & Richard Vargas;
