The City of St. Cloud’s First Big Red Chair Triathlon will be held this Saturday, April 15 at 7:30 a.m. at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center. Billed as perfect for newbies and beginners, this triathlon features a 400m swim in the pool, 12-mile bike course and 3.1-mile run. Finisher medals will be awarded. While not chip-timed, there will be a digital timer at the finish line. Water stations will be provided throughout the routes and food trucks will be located at the finish line. The inaugural Guardian Ad Litem of Osceola County Car and Truck Show will be on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Tractor Supply, Guardian Ad Litem of Osceola County is a nonprofit organization that supports the best interest of the abused, neglected children of Osceola County. Support this cause and vote on some of the most beautiful and unique cars and trucks in the County. There will be vendors, live music, food from Jimmy Bears BBQ and more. There will be prizes for the top three cars. Registration fee is $10 per vehicle. For more information, call 407-450-1495.

The St. Cloud Civic Center will host a free Caregiver Resource Fair Caring for Caregivers on Saturday from 10 a.m.2 p.m. This event will feature community vendors, home maintenance services, home-care assistants, educational services, health screenings, emotional support dog and self-care vendors. There will also be keynote speakers, food trucks, raffles and prizes. If interested, email christina.saintlouis@stcloudfl.gov.

Mind in Motion, a Parkinson’s Disease fundraiser will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Narcoossee Community Center (5354 Rambling Road) in St. Cloud. This fundraiser includes crafters and other vendors, raffle, music, exercises, prizes and more. Contact leadingfitness05@gmail.com to partner with the event.

The City of St. Cloud presents its Borrow Pit Pond Fishing Derby on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. at Borrow Pit Pond on Budinger Avenue across from St. Cloud Elementary School. The cost is $10 per child. Bring your own fishing pole and tackle. Bait will be provided. Age groups are 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 8 a.m.-noon. Register at www.webtrac.stcloudfl.gov.

Vendor spots are available for Spring Fling at Hopkins Park, for April 15-16 and 29-30. Set up time is before 10 a.m. as the event is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Tables and chairs are provided.

Last year’s event had many crafters and vendors with unique handmade items, clothing, body care, home décor, household items, accessories, treats, food trucks, door prizes, laser tag and more. This free event is open to the public. For vendor info, text 1760-303-4745.

And, lastly, if you’re looking for something to do Friday, the City of St. Cloud will celebrate the reopening of Pennsylvania Avenue and 10th Street with a ribbon cutting and guest speakers at 5 p.m. at Centennial Park. All guests will receive a Discover Downtown tote bag and scavenger hunt sheet. This sheet has highlighted locations of special items and coupons from local shops and businesses. This is being done in partnership with the St. Cloud Chamber.
