Celebrate the season! Jolabokaflod Celebration is the Icelandic tradition of “Christmas Book Flood”, where books are the main gift exchanged on Christmas eve and families spend the night reading them together. Discover the cultural origins of this tradition, while enjoying a free book to read with family and friends, along with a sweet treat on Thursday, Dec. 18 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Library.
The St. Cloud Library will host a Kids Business Fair on Saturday, Dec. 20 from1:30-4 p.m. Support Junior Entrepreneurs and Artists as they market their unique crafts, baked goods and creative services like pet care and tutoring.
That afternoon from 2-3:30 p.m. Once Upon a Winter Eve provides a magical winter wonderland where tales of elves, fairies and holiday cheer sparkle like snowflakes! Enjoy winter themed activities for the whole family.
Children up to age 5 are invited on Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 10 to 11 a.m. to stop by the Library for Pajama Jingles. Snuggle up for a cozy morning in your favorite pajamas! This special winter holiday themed story time is filled with festive tales, songs and fun.
All Library programs are free and open to the public.
Registration is open for The Women’s Club of St. Cloud’s Children’s Breakfast with Santa taking place on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 9 -1 a.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center. Tickets are $15 per child and include breakfast, goody bag, a book and a visit with Santa. There will be live music by Denny Gee, door prizes and more. Spots fill up quickly. St. Cloud Little League is accepting head coach applications for the Spring 2026 season. These online applications are available for all baseball and softball divisions. The City of St. Cloud’s Winter Day Camp for children ages 5-12) at the St. Cloud Civic Center is on Dec. 22, 23, 26, 29, 30, 31 and Jan. 2 (December 31 camp hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., all other days are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The Winter Day Camp fee is $40 for City residents and $50 for non-residents per child per day. Weekly rate is $125 for residents and $150 non-residents per child per week.
