The City of St. Cloud is looking for civic-minded residents. There are various committees and Boards that currently have vacancies – Finance Committee, Tree Advisory Committee, Historic Preservation Board, Zoning Board of Adjustments, General Employee Pension Board and the new Teen Recreation Advisory Committee.

The city is even looking for youth to serve the city. The Parks and Recreation is looking to form a Teen Recreation Advisory Committee. This student run group will be committed to enhancing St. Cloud’s Parks and Recreation services to provide a variety of safe, fun and family friendly places to play.

Starting Saturday, Sept. 2, Osceola County Grown Ranch (5700 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy.) will give wannabe farmers the opportunity to rent a plot. If you ever wanted to grow your own produce, this is the place for you. You will be taught what to do and how to do it. For more information, email Prattne7@gmail.com.

The Harmony September Market will be this Sunday, Sept. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harmony Town Square. Check out the fresh produce, spices, plants, candles, body care, baked goods, nutrition, jewelry, customized items and more.

St. Cloud Boys and Girls Club registration remains open. Programs and activities for ages 6 to 18 include homework assistance, career exploration, arts and crafts, field trips, games and STEM activities. One time registration fee is $30.

Give your child something fun to do after school. Hopkins Park Community Center (620 E. 17th St.) has a few openings in its free after-school program for children in grades K-8.
