The Rotary Club of St. Cloud’s 41st Annual Spring Fling 2024 and Bass Tournament takes place on Saturday, April 6 at the St. Cloud Lakefront. The Bass Tournament will be on the waters of East Lake Toho at Chisolm Park. Check in for the tournament is at 5:30 a.m. and weigh-in is at 2 p.m. at the Lakefront.

At the Lakefront, there will be crafters, beer and food vendors, entertainment and games from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a car show with a Touch-a-Truck event for the kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and wine tasting from 12-3 p.m. For more information, contact Rotaryclubstcloud.org or email rotaryclubofstcloud@gmail.com.

In the evening, Amazing Animals’; Wild Nights goes from 5-9 p.m. at, 4235 Rambler Ave. in St. Cloud.  Watch as the preserve transfers into a magical world as the sun sets.  Witness nocturnal animals come to life in their natural habitat.  This wild night at the Preserve is an opportunity to delve into conservation and why it is crucial.  The night includes live music, food, an open bar and a silence auction.  Attendees can also play in the petting zoo, experience sloth and capybara encounters and yard games.

Come check out … well, another person’s treasure … at Harmony’s Spring Community Yard Sale Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Just drive through the community, stop and shop!

 

Breakfast with the Pros – come get a county update on Tuesday, April 9 at 8 a.m.  County Commissioner Ricky Booth will provide the update on Osceola County.  This event is free and open to the public.  Breakfast will be provided by Chick-fil-A. 

Breakfast with the Pros will be held at VFW Post 3227 at 915 New York Ave.

 

A Taste of Main Street takes place at the St. Cloud Marina building, 1104 Lakeshore Blvd. on Saturday, April 13 from 6-9 p.m.  Tickets are $25 per person.  This event features refreshments and small bites showcased by the eateries of the St. Cloud and Kissimmee Main Streets.  It is also an opportunity to mingle with friends and make new ones. For tickets, call 407-498-0008 or go to www.stcloudmainstreet.org.

 

Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit brings the local community, veterans, active-duty military and their families together through interactive exhibits, short films and shared stories.  It is also an official “Welcome Home” station for our nations Vietnam Veterans.  Public tours are free and open to the public.  Wreaths Across America will be at Centennial Park, on 9th Street. on Sunday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The First Annual Wreath Games Fundraiser Downtown St. Cloud Crawl and Scavenger Hunt will also be held that day starting at American Legion Post 80, 1019 Pennsylvania Ave.  Pick a team name and theme and dress up.  Teams have three hours to finish tasks.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. with the games beginning at 2 p.m.Registration fee is $12 per person by Sunday, April 7 at Post 80 or $15 per person on the day of the event. For more information, call 407-892-8808.
