Hit, Run, Pitch

The annual St. Cloud Hit, Run and Pitch competition for boys and girls will be Saturday at the 17th Street ball fields from 6 to 9 p.m.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free. For more information, contact Tonya Fritz at 407-709-7301.

Water polo award

Osceola High’s Amber Hammock was named the water polo District 3 Player of the Year and is a first-team all-district selection.

Hammock, a senior, is joined on the all-district first team by Gateway’s Jane Lowe.

Gateway's Melissa Morgan was a second-team selection, and  Osceola's Sam Manguiat received honorable mention.

For the boys, Osceola’s Daniel Wade was a second-team selection and Gateway's Justin Tirado received honorable mention.
