Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested Travass Quinn, 19, of 1918 Myakka Court, Kissimmee, and Willie Frank Morgan, 29, of 527 Eagle Court, Kissimmee, and charged them with occupied armed burglary, grand theft auto, resisting without violence and possession of burglary tools.

The investigation began Monday at approximately 11 a.m. when deputies received a call that began as a possible armed home invasion at 2615 Eagle Rock Lake in Kissimmee. When deputies arrived, they spoke with the homeowner, who indicated he was upstairs when he heard someone knocking on the front door. When he did not answer the door, he saw two unknown men drive behind his residence and enter his home through a sliding glass door. According to police, the suspects took a television set before leaving the residence.

Deputies located the suspects in a vehicle nearby and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver fled at a high rate of speed. The suspects proceeded south on Pleasant Hill Road before crashing into another vehicle near the Orange Branch Bay Subdivision.

The driver of the vehicle the suspects struck was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Quinn and Morgan exited the vehicle and attempted to run but were caught nearby by deputies.

The investigation revealed the vehicle, a 2010 Dodge Avenger, was stolen from Orange County. Quinn and Morgan were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
