The Osceola News-Gazette is again conducting a circulation renewal effort to make sure customers continue receiving their free editions of the newspaper.

The newspaper held a similar effort earlier this year and the newspaper’s circulation department offers a “thank you” to all those readers who signed up at that time.

Although the News-Gazette is free, in-house circulation records require subscribers to provide certain information so they can continue receiving the publication or receive it for the first time. This week’s circulation mailer will be sent to county residents who haven’t already received one. Please fill out this form and mail it back to the newspaper. Postage on this card has already been provided. It is vital that residents fill this out and return it to keep receiving the newspaper.

“A lot of the residents in the county have been receiving the paper for years and it is important that they fill out a free subscription form so our records reflect that,” Kathy Beckham, News-Gazette circulation department manager, said.

Beckham emphasized that there is no cost to any individual — either a current or a new subscriber — to receive the newspaper.

“This is absolutely free; the only thing we ask is that you sign up for it once a year,” Beckham said.

Beckham said there are two main reasons the News-Gazette needs the signatures: to accommodate route carriers with the appropriate number of papers for the neighborhoods they serve and because it is required.

According to Beckham, the News-Gazette’s auditors require specific and up-to-date records, and the effort to renew all customers’ subscriptions will help in staying in compliance.

Information obtained from newspaper customers is used solely for circulation purposes and is not released to third parties. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses are needed so circulation officials at the newspaper can contact residents if there are any problems, concerns or when it’s time to renew the subscription.

If there are any other questions, call the circulation department directly at 321-402-0405, or e-mail kbeckham@osceolanewsgazette
