AKINS - George Oliver Akins, 68, of Davenport, FL, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Osceola Regional Medical Center. He was a retired owner/operator of an interior design business.
George was born on January 12, 1942 in Brentwood, NH, the son of Floyd and Claire Akins. He lived in New Hampshire and married his sweetheart, Judith Adams, on August 10, 1963. He studied to be an electrician and worked for years for Riley’s Electric until he moved to Florida.
In his retirement, he and wife Judy enjoyed traveling with their dogs, Rusty and Charlie, in their beautiful RV, meeting many new friends who have become very dear to them.
George was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Akins.
He is survived by his wife, Judith, sisters Carmen Cardoza (Michael), Linda Dudley and Ellen Johnston (Bill); brothers Ellis Akins (Alicia) and Bill Akins. He is also survived by his two beloved dogs, Rusty and Charlie.
A Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at 12 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1311 Robinson Dr., Haines City, FL. Burial immediately followed at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City. After the burial a reception was held at the Deer Creek RV Resort main clubhouse.

BASS - Mrs Georgia Bernice Bass, 80, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010 at her residence. Georgia was born in St Cloud, FL on September 18, 1929, the daughter of the late George B. and Voncile (Alman) Jeffers.
Georgia is survived by two daughters, Jonna Sailor of Kissimmee, FL and Dawn Muller of Kissimmee, FL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Clarabelle McClane of St. Cloud, FL and Terri Fry (Roger) of Tallahassee, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Kissimmee on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.

BRONSON - Leon Timothy Bronson, 58, a longtime resident of Steinhatchee, FL, passed away February 7, 2010 in Chiefland. Mr Bronson was born on January 22, 1952 in Miami to Mr. Robert Leon Bronson and Mrs. Dorothy Jane Bowman Bronson. Mr. Bronson was a member of the Steinhatchee Church of Christ. He worked for the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners as a Senior Computer Analyst. He was owner and operator of Kissimmee Valley Communications, an IT company, and owned and operated Gobblers Bend outdoor products.
Mr. Bronson enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, flying airplanes, air boating, dog training, arrowhead hunting, and spending time outdoors in general. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Leon Bronson.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne G. Tyler of Homosassa; a son, Craig Bronson of St. Cloud; his mother, Dorothy Wood of Steinhatchee; a brother, Charlie Tyre of Steinhatchee; sisters, Nancy Bronson of Steinhatchee, Beth Davis of Tallahassee, and Beverly Jefferies of Missouri. Three grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Steinhatchee at 2:00 PM with visitation held 2 hours prior to the service. Followed by burial at Waters Cemetery. Burns Funeral Home of Perry is in charge of arrangements.

DANIELS
- Jewel Babb Daniels, 74, of Fort Walton Beach, FL. passed away peacefully on February 5, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1936, in Kissimmee, FL., to Fred and Vera Babb.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Howard (Bud) Daniels; son Greg Daniels and daughter-in-law Rebecca of Shalimar, FL; daughter Denise Daniels and fiancé Jo Richardson of Fort Walton Beach, FL; son Dean Daniels and daughter-in-law Misty of Boise, ID; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at McLaughlin Mortuary, Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 11:00 AM with Reverend Robert Bohnsack officiating. Family received friends one hour prior to the service. Interment followed at Heritage Gardens, Niceville, FL. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

WEBB - Deborah Knott Webb, 56, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at her home in Newnan, GA. She was born July 14, 1953 in Atlanta to the late Willie and Thelma Ferguson Knott.
The funeral is Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Winston Skinner officiating. Entombment will occur at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Thursday evening between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy E. WILLIAMS - Lori Lynn Williams, 51 passed away January 31, 2010. She was born in Kissimmee, FL on January 4, 1959. She moved to Lakeland in 1990.
Survived by her father Ralph Hopkins and wife Martha, Kissimmee, FL; mother Lucy Edmondson, Lakeland, FL; companion Larry Metz, Lakeland, FL; daughter Karen Williams, Lakeland, FL; 3 grandchildren, Lakeland, FL; brother Robert Hopkins and wife Melissa, Lakeland, FL; stepsisters, Jackie Davis, Cody, WY, Anita Gay, Washington DC, Patty Young, Glenwood, FL and Bonnie Fulmer, Clermont, FL.
Funeral services were  held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in Lakeland, FL. A  memorial service will be held in Kissimmee, FL at a later date. Donations may be made to the Diabetic Association.
