DAFFRON - Mr. Terry Gene Daffron, Sr., 62, of Saint Cloud, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010.  Terry was born in Duquoin, Illinois on September 10, 1947, the son of the late Arthur Carl and Bonnie Ruth (Terry) Hudson.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.  He was House Painter by trade.  He was Baptist.  
Terry is survived by two sons, Terry Gene  Daffron, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN and Brian Daffron of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Carl Arthur Daffron of Tampa and Dennis Ray Daffron of St. Cloud; step-father, Larry Hudson of St. Cloud; and seven grandchildren.  
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at Fisk Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dick Mangum, officiating.  Full Military Honors will be presented by the Osceola County Veterans Council.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fisk Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Cloud. www.fiskfh.com

TABBERT - Rose Marie Tabbert, a long time resident of Kissimmee, passed away on January 15, 2010 at age 78. She was the eldest daughter of Dominic Angelo and Mary Katherine (Browne) Kountz.
Born and raised in Mobile, AL, Rose was a 1950   graduate of Bishop Toolen High School and attended Spring Hill College. In 1953 she married Thomas Richard Tabbert, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years until his death in 2006.
As a young woman, Rose worked for 15 years as a nursing assistant for a physician in Mobile and subsequently spent 10 years as a secretary and then an agent for a real estate office in Clearwater, FL.
In 1978, Rose and her husband retired to Kissimmee where she pursued her passion for gardening.  She was an active volunteer with the Osceola County Chapter of the Florida Master Gardeners from 1983 - 2003 and, until very recently, continued to care for her extensive home gardens and orchid collection.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Richard Jr. (Rick) of Kissimmee; daughter Jacqueline and son-in-law, Steven Gutstein of Palmetto, FL; brother, Samuel Kountz (Alma) of Boynton Beach, FL; sister, Leonora Fagarason (Ken) of Chicago, IL; sister, Barbara Melton (Douglas) of Silver Hill, AL; brother, Robert Kountz (Patricia) of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Dora Barnes of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Charles Tabbert (Betty) of Ellenton, FL.
She was buried together with her husband at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
In keeping with her wishes, no services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL (407)847-2494.
