BRONSON - Mrs. Martha Ellen Bronson, 72, of St. Cloud, FL, passed away on Friday January 8, 2010 at her daughter’s residence. She was the wife of Carl L. Story.
Martha was born in Kissimmee, Florida on November 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Jett and Ruby (Jernigan) Padgett and was a lifelong resident of Osceola County. She was the office manager for Osceola Animal Clinic for 28 years.
Martha is survived by a daughter, Kathi B., wife of Dale Wheeler of St Cloud, FL; a son, James Bronson and his fiancé Maria of St. Cloud; a stepdaughter, Ella Johnson of Jessup, GA; a stepson, Carl Story II of Horten, GA.; grandchildren James Bronson Jr. of St. Cloud, Dale Wheeler III of Sweden, Tyler Wheeler (Nancy), Bryce Wheeler and Trey Rapp, all of St. Cloud and great grandchildren KaeLynne Bronson of Dawsonville, GA and Chase Bronson of St. Cloud and lifelong friend Billie Simmons of St. Cloud.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the funeral home chapel. A funeral service will be conducted beginning at 1:00 PM on Friday January 15, 2010 also in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Colburn of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Kenansville. Interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.
