Alexandra Liggeri, 6, became the first Kissimmee Youth Football and Cheer League female football player to score a touchdown during an early-season game.
The league, for player ages 4-15, has operated for 20 years.
Liggeri has been with KYFL since she was 4 as a cheerleader. This year she switched to football.
Her touchdown helped the team to a 28-6 win under Coach Nick Hagedorn.
KYFL has been a part of the AAU for three seasons and has had several age group champions.
