Kissimmee police detectives are investigating another suspicious incident involving an unknown suspect making lewd comments to a child.

On Oct. 4, at approximately 4 p.m., a 10-year-old student from Mill Creek Elementary School was approached by an unknown white male driving an unknown type of white sport utility vehicle.

The suspect approached the victim at the intersection of Pine Tree Terrace and Mill Slough Road and made a lewd comment referring to his genitalia then drove off. The suspect did not leave his vehicle and made no attempt to touch the child.

The victim worked with the detectives to provide a composite sketch of the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is urged to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at 407-846-3333, by email at seeitsayit@kissimmee.org or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

This is the third incident of its kind in Kissimmee this school year.

“These all seem to have the same descriptions, targeting 10-year-old white females in a white SUV, with similar descriptions of the white male,” KPD spokeswoman Stacie Miller said. “Obviously, we can’t say if it’s the same person until we catch him.”

Kissimmee police are also seeking a man in a fourth incident where a female high school student was attacked Sept. 12 at her bus stop near 2809 W. Vine Street. The suspect in that case is still at-large

Police officers ask parents to continue to talk with their children about safety walking to school. Remind students to walk to school in groups and to never approach a vehicle.  If they encounter anything suspicious, parents should encourage children to report it to the school’s office immediately.
