The Kissimmee Civic Center will once again host the series: Boxeo Telemundo Ford Friday, Oct. 19.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first bell will ring at 8:30 p.m. Telemundo will televise the main event live at 11:35 p.m. EST. The show is being presented by Tuto Zabala, Jr., All Star Boxing, Inc.

Tickets start at $15 for general admission seating and $30 for reserved seating. All tickets will be assessed tax and a $ 2.50 facility use fee plus tax.

Tickets are on sale at the Kissimmee Civic Center at 201 E. Dakin Avenue. Box office hours are 12:30 to 4 p.m. until Oct. 19 and 2 to 11:30 p.m. the day of the show.

Forms of payment include Master card, Visa or cash.  Tickets may also be reserved by phone with a credit card and picked up at will call.

Complimentary parking will be available in the Civic Center parking lot.

Children under 5 will be admitted for free to general admission, but will be issued a ticket.

City of Kissimmee offers new youth sports classes

The city of Kissimmee Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities Department will be offering a selection of new Youth sports classes.  The host of new classes will include floor hockey, parent/tot sports, soccer, lil’ pint hoops, T-ball, all sports, track, arena flag football and basketball. Youth ages 2 – 12-years-old are welcome to join.

Classes are available at a various days and times beginning the week of Oct. 8, and run through the week of Nov. 16.  All classes are $42 each.

Locations for the classes include Mark Durbin Park at Lakeside, Oak Street Park Community Center, Denn John Fields and Chambers Park Community Center.

City of Kissimmee offers youth soccer league

The city of Kissimmee Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities Department will be offering a youth soccer league for beginners from Oct. 13 to Dec. 1.

Games will be Saturdays at the Denn John Park turf field. The fee is $60. Ages 6- to 8 will play from 1 to 2 p.m.  Ages 8 to 10 years old will play from 2 to 3 p.m. There will be no game Nov. 24.
