MILLER - Robert E. “Bob” Miller, 87, of Kissimmee passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012.  Born in Kokomo, Indiana he moved to Florida full time in 1989.  Bob was an operating engineer with Local 103 for over 50 years, retiring in 1989.  He was a mechanic and body man in the winters at his home in Kokomo.  He served in the US Army in WWII, was a member of American Legion Post 10 in Kissimmee, the Moose Lodge and attended the First Christian Church, Kissimmee with his wife Phyllis who preceded him in 2009. He was also preceded by his first wife, Dorothy E. in 1987.  Bob was an avid fisherman and deer hunter, traveling back and forth between the states.  He was always able and available to help his family, friends and neighbors with any projects or repairs no matter what the size.
Survivors include 2 sons, Dale (Marsha) Miller, Leesburg, FL Bryan (Kelly) Miller, St. Cloud, FL  a daughter, Linda (Dick) Tate, Spring Hill, TN, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty (Bob) Kingery, Flora, IN, Sandra Quick, Brooksville, FL and a brother, Rick Miller, Springhill, FL.
Friends may call Thursday, May 31st from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Kissimmee with services at 6:00 p.m. with Pastors James Book and Ross Pepper officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Kokomo, IN on Monday.
