AAU volleyball

Girls who would like to participate in AAU 10-U and middle school volleyball programs in St. Cloud should email Coach Ettie Singleton at singlete@osceola.k12.fl.us. for information.

SC soccer club

The St. Cloud Soccer Club will hold registration for ages 4-17 for the Recreation and Competitive League for the spring season.

Registration dates  are Saturday, Feb. 4, and  Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stephanie Rothstein Park soccer fields at 2701 Missouri Ave. in St. Cloud.

Youth basketball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for the Kissimmee Youth Basketball League, subject to availability.

The registration fee is $70, which includes a jersey.

Practices begin Monday and will be held one night a week. Games are Saturdays from Jan. 21 through Feb. 25. Practices and games are at the Denn John Middle School Gym.

Player assessment will be Saturday. All players must attend. Teams are divided by age groups.

Registration will be accepted in person weekdays at Fortune Road Athletic Complex, 2500 Fortune Road, Kissimmee. Registration also may be completed online at www.kissimmeeparks.org

Coaches needed

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is in need of volunteer coaches for the Kissimmee Youth Basketball League.

Practices are held one day a week for one hour, with games played on Saturdays at Denn John Middle School.  The season runs  Jan. 21 through Feb. 25.

Practice will begin Monday.

Participants range in age from 6- to 17-years-old.

Coaches must be adults and pass a national background check.

YMCA basketball

The Osceola County YMCA Family Center is now registering for youth basketball (ages 3-17) and cheerleading (ages 3-9) for the season that runs Jan. 16 through March 17.

The YMCA member discount for basketball is $50; $100 for non-members. The fee for cheerleading is $20 and $40 for non-members. The deadline is Tuesday.

Coaches are needed for both sports.
