A revitalized Marydia Neighborhood Park has opened to the public. The park located at 2942 Tampa Ave. in Kissimmee has a footprint of just over a half-acre, but the recent work packs a lot into a relatively small space.

The 40th anniversary of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be Friday, May 21, at the Royal St. Cloud Golf Links, 5310 Michigan Ave., St. Cloud.  It’s from 7 a.m. to noon. Breakfast and lunch is included. It’s $100 per person or $400 for a four-person team.

Kiwanis Club's Stroll for Scholarships May 29

The Stroll for Scholarships 5K/10K will be Saturday, May 29, at Shingle Creek. It’s being presented by the Kiwanis Club of Kissimmee and it’s open to the public. First 300 participants receive a race shirt. To register or for more information, visit www.kissimmeekiwanis.org.

The city of St. Cloud’s Movie at the Lakefront will be Friday, April 9. The movie for April is Disney's "Mulan," rated PG-13. A young Chinese maiden disguises herself as a male warrior in order to save her father. The event is at 1104 Lakefront Blvd., from 8 to 10 p.m. The event is free.
